YES, you can metal detect but not at the parks,or schools,,they said people were not recovering there holes,so it had to stop,SO PLEASE PEOPLE RECOVER YOUR HOLES,IT HURTS THE REST OF US WHEN YOU DONT.

i almost got beat up once because i got mad at someone not filling there holes.
i no i can.
