Nice finds. If there is no writing on the dog tag, I would say its just a generic design that someone liked and bought it to wear. They sell those at a lot of novelty stores.

If I google Black Stainless Steel Crucible dog tag, I get a few sites selling this exact pattern.
Everything means something it seems today so I wondered if this pattern meant something.
