Tough hunt in the river

Only 61 degrees for a high and overcast, but I really wanted to do a water hunt. I spent about 4 hours in the chilly water and only came away with $2.01 in clad, a bunch of fishing gear, a pair of Bolle polarized sunglasses, a dog license tag and a few random pieces of junk.

The dog tag is kinda cool. It's made of brass but has no date. Pretty sure it's from the 50's or earlier.

Well, not a big success but it was nice getting out there in the mountains nonetheless.

The sunglasses are worth quite a bit if you can resell them.

Some times just getting out on a hunt and making some finds is still time well spent.
Old Dog Tax Tags are some of my favorite finds - that's a real nice one - strange there's no date on it ?

You get points for getting out there in that cold water. I've always thought that we have to be a little on the masochistic end of the spectrum to be involved in this great hobby.
