Any camera experts on the forum? Found in a c-space section of a dug out basement in an old house. Close as i came so far is a 1950,s Traveler 120 box camera by the same Co. Pho-Tak Corporation of Chicago. Would like to know the date of mfg.Think it will clean up enough just to set on the shelf. Thanks for looking and any info.HH

That is too cool!

My brother in law is a professional photographer who happens to also collect old camera's. I'm going to send your pics to him to see what, if anything, he can tell me about it.

Jim

Thanks Jim,Hope he can help and thank him.HH

No problem! I sent him the pictures and I'm waiting to hear back. I also found an indentical camera on Ebay, and I have an e-mail into the seller asking him what year it was manufactured. :)

Jim

Okay, I heard back from my b-i-law - unfortunately he can't tell us anything about it - he does have a similar one, and he believes it dates back to pre-1950, but he can't be sure.

I'll see if I have a reply from that seller on eBay tonight when I check my home e-mail.

Jim

Okay, word from the eBay seller - he has no clue either. So I guess you'll just have to clean it up, put it on the mantle, and enjoy it! Sorry I couldn't come up with much useful information! But a very cool find!

Thanks all, Bill and Jim thanks for the time.Thats all i could come up with on the sites to.I'll keep looking.HH
