Work has been crazy and it's cold as a witches...well, anyway, I did manage to get 30 minutes or so around lunch. We live on 17 acres of what was the original Collinsville before they moved a mile or so west to be near the railroad. I've found roundballs, j-hooks, etc around here with the T2. So, first time out with the 800 I went to the far side of the main house's front yard. A little creek runs through there and on the other side is a small island with no grass. I hunted the creek for 10 minutes or so but mostly iron, can slaw and some aluminum siding I guess. I was pretty sure the hits were iron and they hit a solid 19 or 20, but a 90 degree turn was hitting from 1 to 25 but wanting to get to know the machine I dug anyway. Still, not a bad haul for 30 minutes. It's all modern. Not sure about the melted lead, could be older. All of those pieces of melted lead were next to each other. I thought I had it all, but the nox chirped a faint 19 at 8" so I dug and found that last tiny fragment. I have no idea what that large iron thingy is. I'm impressed so far
