Got out for 1.5 hours before work yesterday the 28th. Found a few broken clay pipes and this Large Cent. It is in very bad shape. I find these all the time and they are always shot. Out og the 50 or so I have found I got 1 that is in ok shape. I wish I could find more of these in good shape because I love finding them. I am always finding old 1700s colonials in good shape so why not these?

Any large cent is a good find, congrats.

Its better than a sharp stick in the eye!! ;D

Keep @ it and HH!!

Give it time,Hunt harder, and your luck will come for that fine coin. :)

Soak it in some olive oil for a few days,it might clean up a little better.
But,hey it is a large cent.A very nice find

Be happy anytime you find a large penny it's a good day

Any one is good, I just broke the into the 1800's last week after 3 years. Congrats

I have had many days where that coin would be more than welcomed. I have only found 4 in about 9 years of hunting.
They are hard to come by around here. Congrats.

Not really complaining more like wineing wanting a nice one..

CONGRATS! That's strange that all your LC'S come out like that and the Colonials don't.
Well, maybe the next 50 will be great.
Happy Hunting!!

John
