Got out for 1.5 hours before work yesterday the 28th. Found a few broken clay pipes and this Large Cent. It is in very bad shape. I find these all the time and they are always shot. Out og the 50 or so I have found I got 1 that is in ok shape. I wish I could find more of these in good shape because I love finding them. I am always finding old 1700s colonials in good shape so why not these?

I have had many days where that coin would be more than welcomed. I have only found 4 in about 9 years of hunting.
They are hard to come by around here. Congrats.

CONGRATS! That's strange that all your LC'S come out like that and the Colonials don't.
Well, maybe the next 50 will be great.
Happy Hunting!!
