cool relics and coins, I reckon relics are easier to find than old coins

Thsnks buddy. It depends on the spot. A copper can turn up anywhere. Not so much with civil war relics. But I've dug thousands of bullets & maybe around a hundred coppers.

true, depends on the location, my stats are shoddy myself, new year's resolution for me, hopefully, is to count the trash, the relics and the coins and work out the percentages

your numbers make sense, the soldiers fired a lot of bullets but dropped a few coins on the field, especially there was little buying and selling on the battlefields

I went back to a spot that has produced some cool relics over the years. It wasn't very huntable & I managed to find a couple keepers.
Good enough for me , take care.

Your mantra is so so true, that innocence that we betray through selling our souls for momentary and fleeting worldly pleasure, we struggle to get back but cannot fully, we get bent over backwards struggling with John 3:16 or Acts 2:38, which one will save me we ask, is it both in tandem or can I get by with the faith one only but the second one we know we have to commit to and know inherently that to backslide on is very serious and that we are held accountable and so we only go so far to just believe, but the second one has a promise, that the Holy Spirit will be received after baptism, I think because we are so sin-infested we cannot discern and make a decision, we try to go back to that point where when we fell in love with Jesus (He first loved us to be sure), though His kind gaze and care surely kept us alive but we live in anxiety because we cannot fully surrender to Jesus and the Father because we lost our innocence.
