Not much, but my first coins ..

Nothing old or rare, but I spent about 30 minutes at a local park....mainly detecting around the playground equipment.
Two pennies, which were actually on top of the ground, just hard to see
and one nickel, which was about 2 inches down.
Haven't looked at the date on the pennies, but I'm sure they're not very old..the nickel is from 1980.

main thing was, I HAD FUN!!!"

I'll get out more on the next day I have time off.

AND I HAD MANY DAYS LIKE YOURS - MY 2ND YEAR I HUNTED MY YARD WHICH DATED TO THE LATE 30S
I PRACTICED AND LUCKILY MY YARD HAD MANY FINDS - LOTS OF SILVER FROM THE 40S AND WHEAT PENNIES
GOT A LARGE CENT AND A MUSKET BALL TOO (IT WAS AN OLD FARM 200 YRS AGO)
LOOK AT ME NOW - JUST A SMALL SAMPLE OF MY FINDS - MOSTLY FROM THE LAST 20 YRS
I BEEN AT IT FOR 42 YRS

When I started I never expected to find as much as I did its good excercise fun and I now have lots of silver old coins gold and jewelery I have display cases for my old coins rings and relics !
