Worked from home today - so ran out to very local town park for lunch.

Found some clad and was working a junk patch (pull tabs, bottle caps, foil) in an area near softball benches and water fountain.

Got a scratchy 77-80 - but couldnt lock in - dug it any way.......saw the silver circle......second 925 ring of the year:

Stone is scuffed - but ring itself is in decent shape - nice leave organic pattern......will give to the wife maybe, as my daughter gets all my found rings - but this is an adults ring more so. Need to polish the stone - its not that big - any suggestions?

Thanks for reading - moral is (as learned by reading here) dig all repeatable signals!!!

Congrats on digging that sweet silver ring. :occasion14:I dig all silver signals unless I am in an area where cans are mixed in with the fill, they are easy to ID after I dig one or two. I do get fooled on occasion and dig some iron that rings in as silver. Now for mid tones, I dig all repeatables and many that only vary by 1 or 2 digits.

Nice ring ! The fact that it is scuffed , makes me think the stone could be Kyanite - the blue has that deep sapphire look , but Corundum being 9 on the hardness scale , should not abrade like that . Typically we would not expect to see Sapphire set in silver ( though nothing is written in stone )
