Got out yesterday, It was 48 degrees here and RAIN! so I covered up my Silver Eagle and went out anyways..
The ground is frozen solid (except for the deep woods) and decided to go to a park called "Radar" Hill, its a sledding/frisbee golf course now ( Frisbee players here in Wisconsin are dedicated I'll tell you with 20+ inches of snow they are still out playing!). Anyways dug a ton of pop tops /beer tops and shotgun shells, kind of a standard here in Wisconsin. Trudging thru the snow ( I wish I had a one horse open sleigh) I had fun anyways. Went out today and the "thaw" is over, with all the rain even the tot lots are frozen solid!
Oh well I got out even though I dont anything worth while to show!. I'll have to live vicariously through all your posts out there for now! Maybe I'll head south and find some warmth!
Good luck everyone
Happy Hunting!

A day detecting is way better than sitting around wishing you were detecting (just couldn't get enough of a break between the rain showers today). Maybe next time.

Pulltabs and beer caps are pretty much standard anywhere you go, so don't feel too bad about that!

Yeah I've got some sites that I'm looking into that look promising..
Was just good to get out and swing ( even tho the deepest I could dig today was maybe 2 inches)
