The Coinstar at my local Walmart has been out of service for a couple days. Not sure what is wrong. I could volunteer to see if something is clogging it. :laughing7: I did have a find while I was there, though. I found 7 cents in the coin return of the scan it yourself checkout. I try to check them since I am sure people sometimes forget their change.

Sorry but close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades!

Still a good tip, when I go through check-out I'm just anxious to get home.

And you'd be surprised how many people leave the change there, whether by accident or they hate change. Gotta be fast though. Vigilant checkers will scoop it up and throw it in those donation boxes.

Also check the coin dispensers on closed checkouts.

Not wanting to start another finds thread, my granddaughter checked the machine on our way out of Walmart today and found a 2009 Canadian quarter, a '63 silver Rosie, and a modern dime and penny. First silver in a while.

you can retire now lol
