Not sure about this buckle/clasp

Found yesterday at a mid-late 1800s home. Was civil war activity in the area. It looks like the buck or antelope is silver or white metal and the clasp is brass with gold gilt.

Noting that it's chained with a crown around its neck I think it is supposed to be the White Hart (stag) associated with Richard II. However, I'd guess it to be from Victorian times, as wide of a window as that is.

Thanks for the info. I can't seem to find my buckle or anything like on the Web. I also notice that the antelope is facing to the Right in contrast to the ones on the web.
