Not sure if this is an Indian Aftifact or not. What U Think?

My friend found this in a farm field that also housed an old 1 room school house. It is a little larger than a golf ball and looks to be stone. We find many clay marbles, and this looks to be solid rock, but very round, as you can see it has a plow mark in it. Thanks for any help in id-ing this item...
