gold bug, ace 250, whites mxt
Primary Interest:
Prospecting
new to site, but like what i am reading. I have been detecting for a few years, not an expert by any means. I am currently running a mxt. I use it mostly for prospecting but like the to hit parks and campgrounds now and then. I live in arizona, and do most of my detecting just east of Phx. My question is about PI detectors. I am looking hard at a TDI pro, but wonder if a GPX 5000 is really worth the extra money. It would mean waiting another year or so, but if they are that good, it may be worth it. Any thoughts?

The Minelab gold machines seem to have a seious following. Whether they are worth the considerably higher price? I can't say, but I would think whether or not one does a lot of prospecting would play a big part in deciding to purchase one.
