Not the Plan I wanted but will Do!

Guy's got out for my first hunt of 2010,as I was afraid though the back water areas were frozen so could not get to places I had planned on. But had to stay in the big water areas had not froze those yet. Boy the land air was not so bad but that water is a different deal and when you get your hands in it has a little burn to it Anyway I did find a good find to start the year with. It's the largest spear point I've ever found.I wish I knew if it is the whole thing but even if it is not it is 5" long and 2 1/4" wide.If there is some missing then it would for sure be the biggest that I know was found here on the coast.My dad has a huge collection that he's found from a child up to date so I'll see if he has one that can beat it The rest is mini balls, musket shot,a peice of flint from a flint lock my fourth peice now for that,a hinge like three others I've found from other places,a little glass peice that looks to be from jewelry and has some design on it (anyone know?), more teeth,pewter button,and some other things I need to work on to get the crud off to see what they might be.It was cold but was nice to get out might see our first snow tonight But at least it is going to warm up next week so I can get down to business Starting 2010 Enjoy!

Thanks buddy,I don't think the glass piece is a button though it is cabed like it went in a ring or maybe a cuff link like the ones patch has found. But is old from where it came from.Not sure what it means.

I think the artifact is a preform or a very weathered blade. What ever it is, it's awesome and very well made. Another great hunt TK.

Thanks pepperj,a hinge of sorts is what I'd say.Fouth of it's kind I've found now from different sites.

Also the other crusted piece is a small knob after cleaning it.
