Once in a while I find some old coins that look like they were in a drawer for most of their life then just spent too bad its not a key date,

I got some customer wrapped rolls a couple years ago, before the tellers got mean, and in there was a 1995 DDO that was a beauty! I sent it for grading and it graded MS-67! People sometimes keep stuff a long time then dump it. I've been finding a ton of uncirculated quarters lately.

I now save all my copper pennies. They will never make me rich but, they are destined to disappear in later years just like 1964 dimes.

Creskol, I always keep an eye focused on that “take a penny leave a penny” tray in all the convenient stores, gas stations etc...and this fall I spotted a well-worn Wheatie, which I snatched up and replaced with a nice, shiny, new Zincoln. Turn it over and boom,...1913. Beautiful coin, not worn completely down to a nub but obvious it’s been in circulation for a looooong time. But I can appreciate your well preserved 1963 Memorial, thx for sharing, Ddf.

I always keep my eye peeled for gifts from the change gods. Got a 1962-D Washington when my wife went to the coin star before Christmas with my son. I told him to clear out the return when they were done and bring it home to papa. I still can’t find a silver Washington with my machine.
