Not worth anything but it's Purrty

I hunt around old houses when I have to. I generally dig all kinds of car parts, bearings, and other things made of brass, copper, etc. that just frustrate the heck out of me. So I usually give a quick look in coin mode and move on.

Sometimes though I will dig a dodad that is interesting. I like things that are decorated and look cool. This is one of those pieces that just look good enough for me to keep.

Gas valve anyone? ;D

Those are really cool. I found a few but not as ornate as yours!

Re: Not worth anything but it's Purrty

Just my luck. My claim to detecting fame is to have the most ornate gas valve. :tongue3: How much have I spent on detectors? :tard:

That is a neat find, If it was a nozzle it would have been worth some money. Old nozzles get a good $ on ebay, I sold one I found for $70 and I was very surprized.

Pffft. If you don't dig those brass signals, you'll miss some buttons that would put just about any coin find to Shame in terms of value. :o

Hey if you arent satisfied with your gas valve, mail it to me!
