Found this note from my long passed great-grandmother today in the pocket of an apron I've decided to find out more about.
The apron and shawl (which is more like a blanket than a shawl)have passed to me since my 96-year-old grandmother died a few months ago. I would like to know more about these items. The first is a reversible medium weight blanket/shawl in grayish green. The second is an embroidered green gingham apron (with a note in the pocket) 😀 I have attached photos.
