I don’t know what’s going on but I’ve watched every video on the 800 and the 6” coil and I can’t keep away from the falsing on iron. I’ve buried a IHP 7” and it was very iffy the same VDI’s and sound as falsing iron. The lucky horseshoe has officially fell out my butt. Ugggggh frustrated. Am I gonna have to buy a Deus?

7" is kinda deep for a 6" coil.....crank up IB trust me.

Sometimes you have to dig the iron out of the way? I'd like to say my Deus would make the difference but there is only one way to tell, have to have both machines next to each other to compare.

I'm waiting for Land-Mag to up-grade to an 8 & then we can trial it against my Deus to see whats up.

Let me say ' Truth1253 ' I don't "Know" know you but feel we are kinda cut from the same log.

If your like me , I want EVERYTHING Now!, Hence my substance abuse , & living on the Edge so to speak.

Switching detectors may help but I doubt it, it's just the nature of your sites .

It's always been my opinion 'the best machine is the one you have the most time & Experience on.

You got good with that ATP , I knew my XLT like my best friend 'still do but bet I have more to learn' but I used it almost exclusively for almost 10 years , It took me 2+ years to get used to my Tejon with out a screen , but I learned it pretty well . Then I got the G2+ in Feb 17 , think I got it down but I still learn stuff almost each time out & It's 5 inch coil is a different monster.
Heck I got a ATP last Dec , (For water) but it's still in the Box , I'm just to lazy to learn it. I figure if i'm gonna hunt in this heat , i'm gonna use something I know.

No machine is perfect in all conditions .Hmmm I suppose the Equinox is supposed to be.

Is it just a 6" loop issue?

Just keep at it & you will get that machine 'down' .

I still like to use my different machines at my sites , it seems each has it's own merits .
Or it could be Ground conditions , the Stars 'lining up ' coming at the right angle

Remember IMO Site trumps Machine type , Unless yr in a Va Civil War Camp' lol

I think you will get it , Heck with all the Hype I been thinking about a EQ 800 or even a Duce learning them is the time consuming hard part.
