Nothing Exciting But……

Decided to hit the fort on a cool florida morning. I only had an hour or so to hunt and wasn’t finding any real goodies so I decided to dig a couple good iron signals. I got a faint but good signal and dug down to about 2 and a half feet and pulled out this period frying pan. It’s not a prize piece but a good piece of history

oh man, hit it with a wire brush, oil it up and fry some eggs! It's surprising how whole it is, mostly I find little chucks and the occasional handle.

Neat find. Treat that and clean it up a little, and it will display nicely. Just don't leave it where your significant other can fly it towards you !
