I cleaned out my folks house in Chicago 3 yrs ago. It was inhabited by our family for 74 1/2 yrs and was to be sold. In the attic I found a "Southern California vs Notre Dame" program in excellent condition + a ticket stub. The game was played on Sat., Nov 26, 1927 at Soldiers Field in Chicago. The coach was Knute Rockne at the time. This program and ticket stub is 85 yrs old this year....it might go to ebay....not sure yet. Southern California is now called USC....University of Southern California. Notre Dame won in 1927----7-6...... must have been a great game that my mom saw.
