Went out early before the heat was too bad, but the park I chose was dirt and dust. Like digging in concrete!
Nevertheless, I wanted to try my new Nox800. I decided to pick an area under some big trees that always made my AT PRO go haywire because of all the power lines above it. Gotta say, the Nox wasn't chatty at all, except to deliver the 2nd piece of silver in the 2nd time I took it out:


I thought the jewelry stamp was pretty cool, so I looked it up on this cool little blog. Turns out it's a hallmark used by Bell Traders who made American Indian style jewelry in the 1950's:

Let's hear it for Friday rain! I want soft, moist soil to dig on Saturday morning!
