You need a pinpointer because the Explorer has the inline probe Dave? You looking to sell the dead unit?

At some point I'll want to sell the old explorer s with sunray x1 probe, 10 1/2" std coil and 12 1/2" excelerator coil. Detector starts sometimes but doesn't save settings and then quits when it wants.

I'd have it repaired instead of selling it. I don't know who repairs them now - I don't think Kellyco does repairs anymore as their man passed away suddenly a couple or more years ago.

Perhaps post a separate thread on here seeking repair info.

Thought about repair but after repair I still have a 20+ year old machine. Just ordered a 2 month old used NOX 800.
