An anyone give me a possible date on this badge? I've googled the heck out of it but a lot of pics but no age. I dug it at about 8" at an old home site. Farm has been there since 1880s and house was built in early 1900s. I assume it's ww2 era but really don't have a clue. The makers mark on back is blackinton I believe. Here is a few pics. The back is blank with the very small makers mark. It's made out of bronze and missing tab that it hangs from. I swung coil all over but couldn't get a signal so it either not there or detector isn't picking it up. Thanks for any help.

Thanks that's where I'm at I would think there would be more history on these.
