Nutting stones?

A nutting stone has to be large enough to hold the nut and receive a sharp blow. In my opinion those would be to small. They may have served another purpose though if found with other artifacts.
Welcome to the forum.

Some are actually natural like that in shape believe it or not. I dont find that type of rock here so it is hard for me to say. Maybe others will be able to say for sure, rock

#5 looks good to me as being used.

I agree, the one pictured directly above (pic 1-5) and your very first pic (apparently the same one) looks like it could be a "paint stone", little hand mortar or socket stone. All the others look natural. Did you find these all on an actual site? That would make somewhat of a difference, because they could have been natural, but brought to the site and still used. Pecking and or grinding marks are typical the give-a-way on artifacts of this type. So that's the easiest way to tell if the real deal or not. Actual nutting stones are usually larger and will often have conical shaped pits. Oh, and none appear to be hammers. Do keep in mind we can only tell so much from pictures though.
