NWA Arkansas arrow heads

I have been looking for some places to walk/hike and look for arrow heads. No digging just looking. I know SW Missouri is good. Anyone have some general places to look?

As a kid in central Ohio (60's) I would walk any plowed field near a river or creek. The fields near where a creek flowed into a large river seemed to be really good. Getting permission was easy then and I rabbit/pheasant hunted the same areas all the time. Times have changed and getting permission is 90% of the issue. Good luck!

Thanks. I see people all the time when the water is low walking the banks and sand bars.

Yeah you won’t find those this weekend. Water is way high

Check out the book, Ozark bluff dwellers, if I remember right it was written by Harrington. You can download the book for free on the Internet after a search. It's a good, interesting read from some archeology of this area. It should point you in some directions.
