Well after a year and a half of not being able to detect because of physical injuries I made it out for a short hunt today. Boy did it feel good mentally just to get out. So with my cane in one hand and my detector in the other I gave it the best I had. People who saw me out must of thought I was nuts, oh but last check I am bit nuts. Anyway it was beautiful out today and coin wise I only found a 1951 wheatie. But all it takes is one nice find to make ones day. That find came in the form of a NY Civil War Era Officers Staff Button that looked real good even when it was dirty. It is an Albert's NY 30 button and the backmark is Steele &Johnson. When I got back home pop some more pain meds and clean the button. Thanks for looking.
