A tiny little thing. My neighbor, several years ago, and with proper permit from the original BLM, brought home a single piece that weighed in at over 2200 lbs.

Time for more coffee.

I have some nice hunks of mahogany obsidian my wife's grandparents collected in E. Oregon, prolly 50-60 years ago!

Shine a incandescent flashlight through it in a completely dark room.
The obsidian should have a purple or bluish tint.
