OBTAINED GRANDMOTHERS RELIGIOUS MEDALS COLLECTION

Hi, I'm new here. My first day. I have around 300 MEDALS/CROSSES/PENDANTS/CHARMS dating back to I believe 1700's. I was hoping to make some friends here as I've been coin collecting for years and now I am currently getting into religious items. Please leave any input on what medals are the earliest of this collection.

intresting collection...i too enjoy medals...you have to be careful on jumping to date of manufacture....because so many have been made through the years....you will know when you have a 1600 to 1700 piece....i would say in my opinion ...these to be 1800s and up...if 1700s i would say late if at all....im still learning myself....you will know an early jesuit one when u see it....look for signs of age ...patina...wear....opalescence (evidence of being in the ground)...typology and bust....provenance.... etc......goodluck....try n find a book that deals specifically with this subject..
