Ocala Chert

This is one of my favorite artifacts. I'm pretty sure it was broken during the knapping process. One side has a huge stack right at the break. Rough all around but the material is interesting with the marine mollusk inclusions. The shells are filled with tiny crystals as well making it even more unique. Not the best Florida material but I still like it.

I've always been a fan of it too; cool post newnan, I never knew what type of chert it was until now.
