Well I got out of class early today and decided to hit a farm that I have hit a few times over the summer. This time the garden wasn't there so that gave me a little leverage as far as what I haven't hunted and what was left. This property has been used since about 1797 and so far I have found some pretty old stuff, but this button is a first for me. Any info would be great. Thanks

Looks like a Union Infantry Civil War Era Button. If you can read a backmark on it it will give you a pretty good idea
the time frame.
No matter,I like to have found it---Congrats

NICE BUTTON.CONGRATS.

The infantry button is a cuff-sized one. I replied on your thread in "What Is It?" about the other button.

Great buttons Kevo! Congrats! Turned out to be a nice day to hunt in KY... but I didn't get out of class early!!! >:(

Nice Infantry Eagle Button, also nice Odd button.

HH, Ringfinder

It looks to me like an early 19th century replica of a Roman button. I have never seen one like it. I will be really impressed if PBK can ID this one!!

Great finds!
