Odd Copper thing found in old fairgrounds.

It sure what it is, looks like it could have been electrical related, the 2 prongs are just solid copper too.

Any ideas?

It's a drop wire clamp - used to attach phone cable to a pole and house.

Yes... But look at it this way... Depending how old they are, you could be at a site where an old house used to be... I have dug them also and 8 out 10 times, there were coins around, so keep an ear out for those and low signals, you may dig some silver or even gold coins... Just my two cents...
