✅ SOLVED Odd Lead Piece

Hello Everyone, I found this last week in the woods on the side of a hill. It was four inches down. When I plucked it out of the ground and looked at it I thought a gear from something and threw it in my bag. Cleaned it up today and got to looking at it. It looks to be made of lead and the bottom of it has some fabric or soft material attached to it. The writing on top is hard to make out. Shotgun slug? Thanks in advance.
