Found today at the church , it has the letter E which looks like old English font. Trying to figure out what it connected to. It’s so tiny , maybe something to do with jewelry or watch?
I think it's a link off a expanding watch band.
Similar to this.

With it being f
iu
lattened out it is hard to tell but it appears to be a chain coupler.

With the 3 pivot points on the back it's definitely a expandable/stretchable watch band link.

Those chain couplers are hollow.
The one posted has 3 points for linking.

Man your on point! I can’t find a match but it’s the general idea
Brother in law was a watch collector.
Seen a lot of different bands and how they worked.

I just had a better look at the picture and I enlarged it to the max and you are correct. It could not be a chain coupler as I said but the thought of it being part of an expandable watch band are probably correct.
