✅ SOLVED Odd little thing

Went to new spot near work for my lunch break. Didn't have long. Found this sash buckle piece and this other item I have know clue. At first thought it was a button but obviously after cleaning it's not. It doesn't not have threads inside it. And it appears to have a few numbers or letters on it.

Thanks! Never in a million years would have figured that one out. Those are super old umbrellas I just been looking at them
