Hard to tell from the pictures - does it have any roundness to it at all? The first wild guess that popped into my head was a piece of an old fence or gate. But the point seems awfully sharp for that...

...the way it seems to have been warn, I’m going to guess it’s the “clanger” part of a bell. The attachment “arm” has rusted away and this is all that’s left is that sharp little pokey part...

I think the point has rusted into that shape? I have seen other small pieces of iron rust into a point.

I'm with Fat. Clapper wth the shaft rusted off.
