Odd ring

Found this odd ring last year. Its copper with a silver gilt.The only mark is an arrow on the inside .Whats the arrow about?Looks to be around 1800's .Has an unusual profile of a man on front, seems to have some kind of helmet on. Its the best I could do with the pictures.

Any chance that the mark might be an arrow through a "U"? That's the mark of Uncas Mfg. of Providence, RI, a longtime major manufacturer of plated rings.

PBK is right, and Uncas has a few marks that use arrows, and they made plated and costume pieces. See halfway down this page:

If thats your mark, it's from 1920 through at least 1938.

Yep thats it. After looking at it a little better with my loop, I definitely see a "U" through the arrow. Also, I looked at some Renaissance portraits and it might actually be a women. That's scary! Thanks guys!
