✅ SOLVED Odd thing found in river

Last week I was walking around in a local river that's really low looking for bottles or anything interesting. I found this object in a a sand bar when I picked it up I thought it was wood or possibly cork but it's as hard as stone maybe coral? Could be a top to an old croc? Thanks in advance for the help. - Justin

found a similar there site is down, my great aunt had some jugs with that type of
stopper back in the 60s they had belonged to her Gma
