Here is an item I found in the Superstition mountains quite awhile ago, I thought I had lost it when I moved.

Nice find Alan! Where and when?

This one made me dive for the dirt to grab it up, and had me going for a second. Over by the Doc Palmer, 1982, horseback riding:

Didn't help that it felt like it weighed a ton when I picked it up. Pretty much chalcopyrite, plenty of that stuff around there. It was just laying there on top so it probably came out of the mine or off a nearby outcrop and was thrown down by someone.

Looks like material I have prospected along the Salt River. The second photo you posted looks interesting.
