how big is it? post a pic with something like a coin for size reference

That item could be 2 inches long or 12 inches. You should have put a coin or something in the pic to show size. Looks like scrap iron to me. I'd chuck it in the trash or in a scrap iron bucket.

Don't have an size for help - but it looks like the frame inside an older leather bicycle seat without the leather.

Could you clean it somehow? Then put new photos up.

Maybe foot from tub or stove but I could see it being the bike seat frame also, If we could see it in more of a 3 dimensional setting it would give a better perspective. Maybe more pictures from different angles and something in picture to give size estimate, ruler, Quarter or even a dollar bill.

It looks too thick of casting to from a saddle off a bike. I'd say stove/tub leg as well.

It's 3" from tip to tip (straight ruler), and about 2.5" wide at the base. Heres a photo. The stove foot does seem plausible but I think the wide part would have to be what touches the floor. The other end must have bolted it on. IMG_1168.webp

Three more photos, hopefully a clearer idea of the curvature and dimensions.

Now it reminds me of the feet on the old cast iron lawn furniture.
