Off shore dump site ?

Just returned from 3 weeks in Melbourne Florida beaches and found Tons of Shredded alum cans , here are just some.I've never come across this many on any beaches I've metal detected on.Leads me to think their dumping Alum. off shore by the tons. All found on the beach w/in a mile of this water tower

you need to get out more - thats norm at a lot of Fla. beaches - some crank their discrim and pass up (they pass up a lot of gold too)
some toss it back - Ive seen it

Are you visiting or do you live there? Aluminum moves with the sand shifts. If you are digging a lot of aluminum junk then the beach is sanded in. Just wait and watch for it start stripping before you hunt. If youre there on vacay, then youre SOL and have to take what you get in hopes of a fresh drop.

People do dump alot of garbage some parks here I'm Mi I could hunt for 8 hours and not move more than 10ft if I dug all the garbage gotta discriminate some in trashy spots. Hope you had fun on vacation. Tommy

A week ago in the Melbourne area they had a pretty good wind for 3 days that removed a foot of sand in just the 1st day.
