Found these two generals in a very fun box. It yielded 1-64, 1-Ben, 1-clad proof,
1-magician coin, and a few 40%ers.

The conditions of the Stone Mountain and the 51-Ben are amazing, only traces of
wear on the high places.

Great finds!! Seems like a silver commemorative is the one thing on CRH finds list I can't seem to cross off. Someday.

Awesome! Congrats!

Wow , That Stone Mountain is Awesome !!! I'm always just amazed that "the unknowing /uncaring" are turning these in !
These original issues (as opposed to modern commemorative half dollars ) mostly have very low mintage numbers .
The Stone Mountain had in excess of a million because they were using the proceeds from sales of them to fund the
so called Stone Mountain Memorial (credit to Redbook of U.S. coins for this paraphrased info.)

By the way, for some more tidbits, the sculptor who oversaw Mt. Rushmore is the same that oversaw Stone Mountain. Also, Stone Mountain is larger than Mt. Rushmore.

A Washington and a Stone Mountain amongst the membership in the same week? Methinks it be time to dive into them boxes with a vengeance!
