NOTHING ever happens in this village. Well, we had a guy running from the cops through the farmlands over the past 24 hours, but they finally got him. Noodle

Let me guess, was he arrested for speeding?

Not this time. Opposite, I think, going extremely slow, I think. But when the LA St Trooper tried to stop 'em, they took off on the backroads just north of us. Found the car abandoned last night. Caught one this early a.m. tromping through the farmland, and the other in Mississippi this afternoon on a bus.

Drugs, bank robberies, joy riding through 4 states. Normal stuff.

Well, if we were in the L.A. (that would be Los Angeles) area, we'd be looking at drive-by shootings, random killings, etc. Man! It's wild out there. Cannot even conceive of that type of lifestyle. Yeah, we have meth labs, and they really LOVE the rural locations! Guess the in-town rents are too expensive. They move into the suburban areas, rent really cheap houses that are falling down, hoping no one will find 'em.

Now, for opposites, in Scottsdale, AZ, where my daughter lives, the druggies are going to the ultra neighborhoods to rent houses ($500,000 up). There they can grow whatever it is they grow, and the only scrutiny they have to face is from the Electric Company! Nobody else in the neighborhood has a clue!
