Oh, what a very nice home. Looks inviting enough. Thanks for sharing. Enjoy your new yard ornaments.

Cool Pics!!! Quite a few deer hang out in my backyard back home in Michigan. They are my "deer hunting barometers" to help me gauge what the deer might be up to a few miles down the road where my treestand is. So they don't have much to worry about from me. A lot of times they're in the backyard when I pull into the driveway and they just stand there and watch me walk into the house and then go back to browsing.

I thought Hill Billy was going to be Santa Clause next year, I guess we are going to have two. Nice pictures, I don't see Rudolph.

Beautiful pics, they look so peaceful and your home is very pretty! Thank-you for sharing!

Thanks everyone, It is really nice back here in the woods. I have a pond in front of the front deck and I plant several flowers around it every year. Then I also have a couple of flower beds in the rear of the house. The deer do come up and eat my flowers. But I have figured out how to stop them! All you have to do is go to your local barber or beauty shop and get some of there hair clippings and sprinkle them around on the ground by your flowers and the deer won't mess with them. If you have small trees that you have planted, all you have to do is put some hair in a baggie and hang it on the tree and they won't eat it or use it for a rub.

Hello,
We've had a few deer coming in our yard for the last month. They've been eating the crab apples off the tree and what's been knocked down by the partridge that have also been visiting. I think with the deeper than usual snow they're having trouble finding food.

Your probably right about more and deeper snow lots of places the animals need to find food somehere!

LOL, Yeah I know what you mean.
We bought a trail cam so we can see them at night and their activity in the woods. Also watching to see when the bucks shed an dwhen the does drop the young ones. Seen a nice drop tine last week. We have his grandad on the wall. See.

Last year seen two bucks practicing fighting- gearing up for the big day I guess. They had their heads down and were pushing each other around. They even stand up on their rear legs and start hitting each other with their hoofs.
