Would like to post pics but cant figure out how.The other day I was hunting property from 1805 and found a buckle made of brass ?Its 1/16" thick and 4" in length and 2.5" wide.It has a round pic frame with a cut and polished inset stone. The frame for the stone has fluer di leise like pedals .Cant find anything on it .5' from where I found the 1785 Vermont copper.I have found civil war relics also.I know that the 6 va reg. happened to be staging around the area. Also found what maybe dirt dish from a small pit with oyster shells. It maybe from civilwar or colonial times.??But anyway all you members good luck hunting and keep putting up the great finds on this site.Next week adjacent property 1768 or earlier may have more to talk about.vanzutphen
