Good afternoon,

I have not found this particular fossil before. Found it while combing the river yesterday and have not been able to find an Id online. Southwestern Ohio. It’s pretty large and very heavy compared to what I normally find. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks very much.

I think it’s silicified coral in a limestone/quartz matrix.

Thanks for the replies. Appreciated. Yes, found pretty close to MU.

Any idea what type of coral this is?
