I found this in the side yard at home today it is the size of a quater. I looks like a screwdriver was push through the top to pry off.

Is saids WALD MFG CO MAYSVILLE KY USA

On the inside there is a seal. Red.

Tough telling with no picture. Wald makes a lot of bicycle parts... could be from a bike to protect the crank bearings?

Oops, a crank seal would be larger than a quarter... I believe thats a dust cap (seal) for the axle bearings. (again, on a bicycle). -Ben
