I looks like a screwdriver was push through the top to pry off. Is saids WALD MFG CO MAYSVILLE KY USA On the inside there is a seal. Red. Apr 18, 2006 #4 Oops, a crank seal would be larger than a quarter... I believe thats a dust cap (seal) for the axle bearings. (again, on a bicycle). -Ben Upvote 0
