I've been working in a small town in S.E. Kansas this week and have had a little time to do some beeping at lunch and after work. Unearthed some good stuff (for me anyway). On Tuesday I found the usual clad and a couple of silver coins: 1962-D Quarter & 1958-D Dime.
[size=18pt]Then on Wednesday: A 1952-D Quarter, a tired looking 1925 Wheatie, and the big find for me, an 1865 2-cent piece. The 2-cent piece is the oldest coin by far I've found in over 10 years of detecting.
It's rough looking but I'm still thrilled to get it.
