Hi All,

The Camp Logan finds are from Saturday and the sports field finds are from Sunday. I hunted with Mike and Steve on Saturday...Tim showed up a while later. I dropped off a care package for Randy (the homeless dude) with a bunch of camping stuff, crank radio and flashlight, food, etc. He said "This is too cool"...hopefully he won't sell all of it. Later on he started preaching god to me...I listened for a while and then politely excused myself ::)

A couple of buttons..."IHC" and, perhaps, a naval button (boats on the right).

Parts of a WWI mortar round. See Mike's post...he found a whole one -> http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.php/topic,65300.0.html

I was surprised to see this monster bullet. They started making these in 1956 so it isn't from the Camp Logan days.

Total from sports field (I like the working dog whistle :)). The wheatie is a 1930.

Man, what a haul. Great variety of items. I see you even found Jesus. :)
Great job.

I'm sure you already know but that wedding band is Jewish with Hebrew inscription around the edge.

Very nice!

We left shortly after you did...the rain was starting to get a little heavier. Do you have any idea about the buttons? I don't know what IHC stands for. The C may be for Cavalry. I haven't seen any buttons from Logan that look like the large one. It's corroded, but it does show boats, a shield, bird, etc.

Here's a better closeup of the larger button. You can see some dates on it...the first date is hard to read, but the last date looks like 1818.

The IHC on the button/pin was the first logo for International Harvester Company when it formed in 1902. Tony

Too bad the ring wasn't the gold version...But I'll take silver any day!!Nice group of find's Beep!!

WOW..Nice Logan finds, the button is awesome! Great silver ring too.
Memorial looks like the place to be, Logan has gave up some great
finds lately.

I don't know Beep; with at least 3 of your bullets in that pile being "Live", you might want to listen to a little more about God. ;D

No it doesn't.....It stands for "Indian Head Cavalry". They had their own horse company to fight the MExicans when they landed on Iwo Jima.... ;DYeah...that's right....JK

Nice finds Chris. That ring is way sweet and the 1/4 stack is awesome.....

All that treasure and a whistle too! I'd be happy just finding a whistle!
